We recently carried out an online survey to find out what exactly the community would prefer to happen to Nine Acre Field, if we are able to prevent Wrexham Council from building on it. The results weren't too unexpected. The majority of respondents wanted the space to become open to the public, in one form or another. The greatest support (over 70%) would opt for either a public park, or a combined park and sports pitch arrangement.
Most respondents were from the Wrexham town centre area, so it's fair to say that the survey results reflect what the immediate community would prefer to happen. The survey results can be viewed in this PDF.
We are now reworking our original vision to reflect what the community would like to see on Nine Acre Field.
